Melbourne R&B artist Olivia Escuyos is back with her latest single, Got Me (Feelin’ Like), and it’s one of the smoothest tracks I’ve heard this year. Olivia’s not afraid to flex her vocals on the track, and if you’re a fan of R&B that pulls on the heartstrings, then give this a listen. On a sidenote, as soon as this started playing, my dog looked up at me and started staring. As I’ve previously mentioned, she has impeccable taste, so that’s another reason why I like this track so much.

The track’s production gives Olivia the space to shine, and she’s sounding better than ever. R&B is having a moment in Australia at the moment, with artists like Larissa Lambert and Elle Eliades pushing things forward, and Got Me (Feelin’ Like) is further proof that if you’re an R&B lover from anywhere across the globe, start paying attention to what’s going on here in Australia. Clearly, there’s something in the water, because Olivia’s vocals are hitting all the right notes.

Speaking about the track, Olivia says it’s a team effort, and one of her favourite tracks to date. “This record is important to me because of the collaborative effort my friends and I put in to create the feeling we all know as love.” The track is set to feature on Olivia’s upcoming EP, and I’m excited to hear what that will sound like. There’s a warmth that radiates from every note on this track, and it really does emulate the feeling of being in love with the right person.
