Melbourne musicians Eleftherios and Jimmy Harwood have teamed up for the layered and lush Me N I, and it’s a track that reels you in. Listening to the track, you’ll find yourself immersed in the pair’s melodies, while things are driven along by the drums. Jimmy transitions between rap-adjacent vocals, and crooning his heart out, and it means that the song never loses steam. The only downside is that it’s over before you know it!

Me N I is accompanied by a B-side, Mountains. Both tracks come in at under 2 minutes, and they feel like the inverse of each other. Me N I is the hyperactive brother, while Mountains is the pensive, reflective older sibling. Both tracks are inspired by the likes of Mac Miller and John Mayer, and it’s not hard to imagine Mac rapping over the beat of Me N I. I can definitely see both tracks becoming crowd favourites when played live (Eleftherios plays bass in Jimmy’s band, so I imagine that’ll be a reality at some point soon).

Speaking about the two tracks, Eleftherios says, “For me, the songs highlight the importance of focusing on the self and on looking after one’s mental health. Life can be overwhelming at times, and it can be necessary at times to take a step back and breathe.” Jimmy added to Eleftherios’ thoughts, saying, "The big inspiration for the tracks was the location we were in. The city view made me think about how life in the city is fast-paced and how it would be nice to get out of the city for a while and chill."
