Caitlin Min Fa’s Grateful For Her Community On ‘I Need U’

Melbourne pop artist Caitlin Min Fa has just released her new single, I Need U, and it’s a love letter to the people that are always there for her. It’s important to recognise those around you that help you become the best version of yourself, and this song is a great way to let them know how you feel about them. Caitlin’s vocal performance on I Need U conveys a sense of gratitude but also demonstrates her strength. Her success is driven by herself, and facilitated by those around her. When she’s amongst her circle, she’s unstoppable.
It’s not an easy thing to admit that you need the people around you, mainly because to some, that might be thought of as a weakness. That myth is dispelled on I Need U. Instead, the track is an acknowledgement that when one person around you succeeds, everyone benefits in the long run. Make no mistake though, this isn’t an overly saccharine piece of pop. Instead, the production has a slight edge to it, which makes Caitlin’s voice stand out even more. Melbourne’s Rob Amoruso is behind the production on this one, and together, they’ve put together a track that you’ll want to share with those around you.
Speaking about the track, Caitlin says, “I'm so grateful for the people around me. That we get to celebrate the wins together and catch each other when we fall. I'm grateful that life is better with them in it. Though we often forget to thank them for being there and to say how much we appreciate them; equally not saying 'I love you' enough to the ones who mean most”.
