Big Heart Are Reminding You To ‘Just Give It Time’

Phillip Island band Big Heart have just released their debut single, Just Give It Time, and it’s a reminder that time heals all wounds. The track is distinctly Australian, and it’s a great slice of Aussie rock. If you were a fan of Australian band Loon Lake, then you’ll enjoy this, as it features Simon and Nick from Loon Lake. This is one for those that love guitar pop, and want something to scream along to. I feel like fans of Bad//Dreems will be instantly enamoured with Big Heart.

The track comes from an album that the duo recorded together across weekends during 2019 and 2020. As Simon puts it, “All the songs come straight from the heart, stories I've lived, or stories I've stolen from my mates and reinterpreted.” Just Give It Time is clearly a personal track, and the conviction in his voice will echo around your head. Stay tuned for Forever, their debut album, because I think it’ll be a cracker.

Speaking about the track, the band says, “I wrote Just Give It Time in the midst of a real downer of a time for myself. My head was just in a bit of a horror. I wrote it to myself as some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy type shit I guess. And you know what? Two years on, I guess I can say my words came to life. I can now look back on that, and truly say 'time' is what I had to give it.”
