I’m back with another Sessions post, even if it is a few days late. Honestly, I’ve been taking a little bit of a step back from the blog - just trying to rejuvenate. I’m trying to think of ways to make it more enticing for bands/artists to share my writing with their audiences, because really, it’s the best way to grow. I’ve also been spending a lot of time with my girlfriend and my puppy, which has been good for the mind.

It’s getting towards the end of the year, which means we’re going to be seeing a lot of end-of-year lists. We’ve received a lot of new music this year, and it’s made many of the longest days a lot easier. I hope these lists manage to capture the context in which the music was written, especially for albums wholly written in quarantine. When we look back on the music from 2020, we need to remember what was going on in the wider world.

I’m going to keep this one short, because I’m heading to baseball training soon as I write this. I’ve made it a priority to embrace having hobbies this year, and playing baseball has been something I’ve picked up recently, and I’m really enjoying it! I’ll keep you updated how I go as the season goes on - it kicks off this weekend, which is exciting. I’ve updated the playlist below, so you can check out what I’ve been listening to, as well as posting all the links from the last week and a half for you to read!
