I’ve finally given up on my newsletter. Is this a data-driven decision, or the fact that I feel a lot better writing an article over sending an email? Who knows. Well, I do. I don’t think that newsletters are working for me, because I don’t have a big enough audience.

Of course, newsletters do work for a lot of people! I think it’s more reflective of the interest in music journalism as a whole in Australia. I’m trying to separate how I judge the blog from numbers, which was actually quite easy over the last couple of weeks. I published 4 interviews, as well as covering some great tracks. Hopefully, at least one person out there found a nwe track they enjoy. That’s all any writer can ask for, right?
